Quick 100% Whole Wheat Bread
1 c. warm water 4 Tbsp. oil
1 Tbsp. honey 1 Tbsp. salt
2 pkg. yeast 4 c. whole wheat flour
3 c. hot water 5 c. whole wheat flour, warmed in 250° oven

1/3 c. honey

In a small bowl, combine warm water, 1 Tbsp. honey, yeast. Let stand for 10 minutes. In a larger bowl, mix hot water, 1/3 c. honey, oil, salt, and 4 c. of flour in the order given. Cool to lukewarm and add yeast mixture. Beat thoroughly by mixer or hand. Let rise in a warm place for 15 minutes. Add enough of the 5 c. of flour to make a soft dough that can be handled. Knead 5 minutes. Throw the dough on the bread board with force several times. Put loaves into well greased pans and let sit for 12 minutes. Bake at 250° for 15 minutes. Turn heat up to 350° and bake for 45 minutes. Yields 3 loaves.
